Born of Lakeland Water
Named after Cock-a-Hoop, the act of removing the spigot or cock from a barrel and placing it on the hoop before drinking, with a nod to the River Cocker that runs beside our brewery, Cocker Hoop is our renowned pale golden bitter. Brewed with our famous well water and Maris Otter pale, wheat and oat malts to create the crisp golden colour and deep head. Goldings hops provide a subtle spicy bitterness, while UK Cascade and Celeia provide a noble floral citrus aroma. Fresh and refreshing as the morning sun on a Lakeland river, it is the perfect session bitter.
